The House Hunters Restoration and Renovation grant program will allow the group to renovate two properties and renovate a third, according to a news release.
The grant will cover approximately $15,000 for renovation, repairs, and improvements to the properties at 817 F Street NW and 838 F Street SW.
A portion of the grant will also go toward a $10,000 restoration of the building’s ceiling.
The $10 million grant will support a renovation project to the House Hunters office building.
The renovation will be completed by the end of January 2018, and will allow for new lighting, carpets, and furniture.
The building will also be renovated with new materials and a new roof.
The group also is seeking to renovating the two properties at 513 N. Washington, and at 627 S. Pennsylvania.
The renovations will require an estimated $10.5 million in federal grants and a portion of which will be provided to the organization by the city of Washington, D.C.
The grants will also help the group complete renovations to the two houses on the former site of the Old House Hunters in the district.
The project will include new lighting and carpets.
The groups efforts to renovates the properties will help the organization raise money for the renovation and to further its mission.
The renovations will be funded through the Washington Conservation District.
