Buckingham palace, a state-owned property in the heart of downtown Washington, has been in the news for the past few months after a major renovation was ordered to address a long-term structural defect that has caused extensive damage to the property.
But now, in a citywide effort to repair the property and bring it back to a state of good repair, the palace has become the focus of a new renovation program.
The palace renovation is part of a nationwide program to repair historic homes and buildings that are under $1 million, according to a statement by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the state agency that oversees historic preservation.
The goal is to get the home back to the condition that it was in when it was built, the statement said.
“The restoration of Buckingham Palace will restore the historic charm of the property, while also providing visitors and visitors to Washington a place to enjoy a historic site,” said John Kline, the trust’s president.
“It’s a great opportunity to educate the public about the importance of the state’s historic preservation program and how it can help save and restore homes and businesses in our communities.”
The palace is one of the oldest in the nation and has been home to the Queen of England since the 17th century.
In 1802, the estate was sold to the King of Scotland and his daughter, Lady Margaret, who had to take over the residence after it was given to her father, King James II, for a private collection.
The Queen of Scotland was a wealthy widow who lived at the palace for more than 40 years.
The Queen died in 1835, but she left a legacy of cultural significance.
The palace, built to house the royal family, has housed the royal chapel, the Royal Mint and a number of other important buildings.
In the past decade, many of the buildings have been torn down and replaced with offices and other improvements.
But in 2018, the Palace Trust bought the property from its previous owners, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and National Museum of the American Indian.
In a letter to the city of Washington, the Washington State Department of Public Works said the Palace will be “rebuilt to the same architectural quality as when the property was built and maintained by the State.”
The work to rebuild the palace is being led by the Architectural Restoration Project and the American Institute of Architects, which are two of the groups that helped design the building.
