Living Room renovations at Disney’s Epcot Resort in Florida are set to be the focus of a new theme park renovation project.
According to a press release from Disney Parks & Resorts, this new theme is called The Living Room Restoration, and it will be the “most comprehensive renovation project in the history of Epcot.”
This project will “enhance the design and aesthetics of the park, including new lighting, interior decorations, and interactive areas.”
Disney says that this project is “an unprecedented and innovative collaboration between Disney Parks and Epcot, which is a great example of how we’re going to ensure that guests enjoy the most amazing experiences at Epcot each and every day.”
As the press release notes, the Living Room renovation project will also include the new park entrance that will feature new landscaping, a “new pavilion area with a new restaurant and bar, and more,” as well as the new Epcot Plaza restaurant.
As of today, the project has been in the works for nearly six months.
It is set to begin this summer.
“With the Living Rooms and other improvements at Ephesus, guests will be able to enjoy more time in the park than ever before,” said Phil Houser, President and CEO of EphesUS, in a press conference at Ep.
Cavil’s Resort.
“It will provide a great atmosphere for guests to enjoy and enjoy themselves.
It will also provide new and exciting experiences for guests.”
The Living Room restoration project is being spearheaded by Epcot Resorts and Disney Parks Resorts.
Disney says it is “in the process of selecting a design firm and team to create a detailed architectural design for the project.”
The Living Rooms renovation will take place at the Walt Disney World Resort from 2018 to 2021.
Disney is looking to have the project completed in 2019.
