The Walking Dead creator Chris “The Man” Hardwick has confirmed that he helped to get the CW’s “The Flash” back on the air.
Hardwick revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that he was the one who asked for the network to make the “Flash” series series a reality.
The “Flash,” a supernatural superhero show based on a comic book by DC Comics, was cancelled after three seasons, and the network did not renew it.
In a new interview with EW, Hardwick discussed how he helped the series return, which aired on the CW from January to April.
“I said, ‘Why aren’t you doing it?
It’s not working,'” Hardwick recalled.
“And [creator] Andrew Kreisberg and I, we came up with a plan.
And it just sort of happened.
And we got it.
So it’s cool.”
He went on to say that he had a great time working on the series, and that the team at CW felt he did a great job.
“It was a really fun show,” he said.
“We did the best we could with it, and I think people enjoyed it.”
Hardwick also said that he “loved” working with “The CW’s” Geoff Johns on “The Walking Street,” and that he is hoping to work with the network again in the future.
“They’re doing a really good job with ‘The Blacklist,'” he said, noting that he has been approached about a role on the network’s next show.
“So hopefully we can do it again.”
